Rental Regalia Set
Description
All our ceremonial gowns meet the specifications registered with the Intercollegiate Bureau of Academic Costume. The body of the gown is made of the highest quality light blue polyester crepe. The sleeve chevrons and front panels are made of elegant plush velvet and finished with yellow piping. Bell sleeves are used, in the doctoral gown tradition. A full-length zipper in the front and two side pockets are also included.
The body of the hood is constructed of black polyester crepe and plush, royal blue velvet, which denotes the Ph.D. The hood is lined with luminous satin in blue and gold, signifying the University of Michigan colors. The entire hood is finished with gold satin trim.
The eight-sided cap is made of our finest black plush velvet, which is recognized worldwide as the industry standard. A silk tassel is included with the cap. A luminous gold bullion tassel can be included for an additional $10.

Gorgeous High Quality Regalia
I am so glad that I decided to choose CapGown for my Ph.D. regalia. It arrived right on time - as promised. It was packaged beautifully and carefully. It honestly all looked brand new. Better than the UM gowns
I saw a ton of people using these gowns at graduation. They are a different fabric than the University ones which are more silky, but I actually like this better. The silky University ones show wrinkles very easily and this looks more substantial. Same color. Also these gowns have pockets! The University ones do not. Huge benefit of CapGown. I highly recommend.
