Doctoral Hood

Description

The body of the hood is constructed of dark blue polyester crepe and plush, royal blue velvet, which denotes the Ph.D. The hood is lined with luminous satin in blue and gold, signifying the University of California’s colors. The entire hood is finished with gold satin trim.

All University of California Doctoral graduates wear the same officially designed UC regalia.

High quality awesome robes!

I'm really glad that I rented my graduation attire from CapGown. The quality of the robes was much higher than the quality of other types of robes people bought, and it was very obvious in the stage lighting who had rented the nice robes. The whole process of renting everything was very easy- the robe came a week before graduation, as promised, and all I had to do was send the stuff back after my event was over! I will certainly recommend this service to my friends who are graduating in the future.

It worked well

It all worked well. It was delivered on time, size was good and I had no problems in shipping it back. The regalia was good looking. They just got the wrong color. The official UCSD regalia is black while CapGrown has it in blue. Not a big deal for me but there might be people who care about this.
